To setup your iCal to connect with the DeLab group calendars located on Function1 and visible on the web, first open the Preference window located in the iCal menu.
Select the accounts tab and add a new account.
In the "Add an Account" window, select the account type, CalDAV. Type in your Open Directory user name, leave the Password field blank, and type "function1.mime.oregonstate.edu" into the sever Address field. It is important that you leave the password field blank; if you type your password it will try to connect to your personal calendar.
An error should appear when you click Create stating that the CalDAV server was found, but that it was unable to login to the server with your user name. Click Create again to change the button to Continue. Clicking Continue will take you to the advanced options page.
Now type your password into the Password field, and add the server path. The path is: "/principals/groups/delab/". ***Note the typo in the figure below****
Once entered, click the Create button to add the calendar to the Delab's group calendars to your iCal. You can now name the group calendars whatever you like, and change the refresh time to suit your needs in the main preference window.
